Disappointed [Posted on 2008-10-30] I already own a Logitech USB headset that has given me good service for a few years, so I when my son needed a headset for use with Skype, I thought Logitech.
Compared with my existing headset the build quality of this new one is very disappointing. It looks like they have skimped on materials and the device is very fragile.
Most disappointing of all is that the device does NOT work with Microsoft Vista and hence is unusable for us. Logitech's technical support in this area is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
Works well with Skype [Posted on 2008-11-02] I use Skype to communicate with my coworkers. I used to have a cheap headset with microphone that I use to communicate with my coworkers, and they always complained about the static and my low voice despite the fact that I was yelling at the microphone. With this headset, they can hear me very clearly. It's quite comfortable too, as I use it to watch movies for hours on my computer w/o using my speaker.
logitech headset [Posted on 2008-11-10] High quality and good price through Amazon. Very smooth seamless transaction completed with immediate delivery. Product and Amazon service is first rate in every way.
Decent Headset [Posted on 2008-11-19] The headset for the most part was pretty good. It was very comfortable, the USB connection was cool. The only problem I have with mine is, I can not control the volume from the switch on the cord, the mute button works, but not the volume. I have to go into volume control and set the volume level there. Pain. Other than that great headset.
feels like torture device [Posted on 2008-11-28] The headband is flat on top so the weight of the entire headband is pressing down on one spot on the head. My head started to hurt within minutes of putting it on. I tried to round the flat part but it wouldn't bend and I tried extending the sides but that didn't help either.
At the time, I submitted this review, there was a picture of a man wearing the headset. Since the man is bald, it is obvious that the headset is resting on just one point on his head. He loves the product so I guess it depends on your pain threshold.
