With the price of cables being high because of the need to hook up all the high end audio video, I doubt that most people could tell the difference between these "standard" cables and those with a special designation that costs three times as much. Most of the audio/video sites are saying that there is very little difference in top end HDMI cable and a lower price standard one, and by looking at the picture that I am receiving throught these component cables and a standard progressive scan DVD player(without Upscaling)I doubt that there could me much improvement until I am ready for an HD DVD player (when the DVD war is over) Then I will be getting the "standard" HDMI cable as well.

This cable is very good stuff, the quality is way above el-cheapo cables.
I use 720p from my PC to my plasma, and yeah it's much better than S-video.
Cant' say anything bad about it.

I've been using Monster cables since I bought my home entertainment components back in 2000. Never had any problems or issues with them. Bought these for a component to component connection for my TV and DVD. No issues. Monster cables on average are a little more expensive than other brands but I'm willing to pay the extra for a pretty much lifetime warrantee.
