A great remote for the truly lazy (like me) [Posted on 2008-03-30]
I purchased this remote in conjunction with an iTrip for my iPod video. I own a Honda Element, and looked for some time for a nice, integrated solution. This turned out to be the final piece in the puzzle.
As the placement for the iTrip put the iPod out of safe reach, I needed a remote that would be easy to use, reliable, and would allow me to control all functions of the iPod--not an easy order, apparently. This remote does the job wonderfully. I do feel a little guilty using a remote control for an iPod that sits less than two feet away from me, but I justify it in the name of road safety.
The only problem I've had with the remote is that it periodically takes matters into its own hands; that is, some of the commands seem to be randomly pushed. Overall, it's not a big deal. If you need a remote solution, particularly for a car, this is a great buy!
