I chose this holster over the other plastic ones because I preferred the physical design. The iPhone fits nicely face-out or face-in. It's very secure and I feel confident the phone won't fall out, even upside down. Unlike some others I've seen, this one rides low enough that it doesn't feel top heavy nor like the holster is going to fall off your hip. Also, its design recesses the plastic--so if you place the phone face-in, the plastic will NOT rub against the phone's face.
Like most iPhone holsters, it wants to be a desktop stand. The clip has an annoying desire to lock open when you squeeze it. Not a problem, just push it shut and everything is fine.

The holder itself is fine, but the clip is designed to stay open so you can use it as a stand. Unfortunately, it easily clicks into the open position on your belt and can fall off easily. It is quite useless.
Update: Dropped it on a hardwood floor and a corner broke off. I would rate this even lower now.

The Macally iPhone Plastic Swivel Holster is highly recommendable as it one of the only holsters which doesn't look geeky when you are wearing a suit. It's versatile also a stand, and one really must admire its minimalist design. I'm a power user and highly recommend this item for iPhone users.
