I received the case just 2 days ago and still havent been to the gym with it but so far, im using it only with the belt clip.
1. convertibility is great. its very ease to add the arm band - you do that with the help of a headphones jack.
2. the case is made of a very pleasant material and the case looks very good. Since I live in Europe, we dont have this stuff here and when i showed it to the official Apple reseller in my town yesterday he said it is a very good case
3. though I havent been to the gym yet, arm band stays on the arm very well and would fit much larger arms than mine
4. the only thing that put me off a bit is the vinyl cover which is fine but doesnt perfectly work when you want to "show off" with the photo zoom function. takes some time to get used to greater pressure to be exerted. on the other hand, you wont do this often in a gym , will you? otherwise, all slide functions work perfectly
5. it is not very easy to take the ipod out of the case and I just wonder how long the case will last. Cant tell yet but the case seems to be of very good quality so hopefully it will be fine.
6. it does add some extra centimeter to the total thickness of the ipod - especially the clip holder so doesnt really fit into smart suit pants...
on the whole im very happy with it and i can only recommend it..
