S805 [Posted on 2008-01-28] Headphones are comfortable and well built. Sound is very good with surprisingly deep bass. Noise isolation is also very good. Battery life is also very good. I looked all over for a comfortable, quality bluetooth headphone and these were the winners for me. They have performed to my expectations.
I Love These Headphones! [Posted on 2008-02-10] I have these paired with my laptop's built in bluetooth running Vista and using the latest Toshiba bluetooth stack.
They sound great and run a long time before needing recharged.
I don't use the cell phone feature so I can't speak for that.
For me, they are much more comfortable than ear buds.
Great Sound, Fairly Comfortable [Posted on 2008-03-25] Overall: This product works great. I'm quite satisfied with the quality and performance. The sound quality is high.
Pros:
-I'm very satisfied with battery life. I left it on (accidentally) for 2 days on standy and I still got several hours of use out of them without a recharge.
-The sound quality is excellent.
-The noise-canceling is excellent to the point where my wife hates me having them on because I can't hear her (that could be either a pro OR con depending on how you look at it).
-Call quality is great -- both on the headphone and microphone side. People on the other end have no problems hearing me.
-If I'm listening to music via the analog jack from my sound card, and I get a call on my cell phone, the headset automatically switches over when I answer the call, and automatically switches back to the music when the call is over.
Cons:
-I have a slightly bigger head that some people I suppose, and these headphones feel tight to me. Because of this, my ears begin to get sore after about an hour of use.
-The supplied audio cable is only 2-3 feet long
-There is no analog microphone jack to use this set with non-bluetooth devices like my desktop computer. This is remedied by a cheap usb BT adapter, but would have been an easy feature for Motorola to implement.
-Battery takes about 4 hours to charge fully, and is not charged on purchase. If you buy these, be willing to wait for 4 hours once you unbox them to try them out
-Headphones are not operable during recharging
First Class [Posted on 2008-04-28] I bought this to go with my MP3 Player, so I can listen to music in hotel rooms when traveling without having to hear the AC units running, and I have to say it is amazing. I used it on Saturday when cutting the grass and it was great, does everything except pause/skip tracks. Turns out it is my BT transmitter causing the issues there. The headphones are well made, come in a very nice case which can store the charger and maybe even an MP3 too.
For some reason mine was missing the 2.5-3.5mm cable, which is annoying as I was planning on using it on the plane. I've contacted the seller and I am sure they will take care of it for me.
The best part of these headphones is they are super comfortable. I have worn them for about four hours outside in 90F weather and were not a bit of trouble. Well worth the money and more than five stars.
Headphones Rock [Posted on 2008-06-01] Not knowing what to expect, I anticipated seeing how these headphones sounded. The sound quality is pretty decent, but better yet the volume great and has somewhat of noise canceling capability. I primarily use these for a five hour mow job, and both my phone and the headphones batteries' last the duration. Would definitely recommend for the reasonable price.
