These slim cases keep your CD's in shape! [Posted on 2007-07-03] As the author of the Jefferson Airplane book "Take Me To A Circus Tent" and a former radio disc-jockey, as well as a collector of music I am often asked to write about and or discuss various recording supplies.
The Maxell Slim Jewel Cases may first attract you because of the cool look and sleek design but the key component is the ability to secure the CD.
You'll find the CD will properly fit inside and when you open the case the CD will not be flying every which way.
The thin size will save you a tremendous amount of space as you build a collection.
Remember please to either label the CD or the outside of the Jewel Case for contents recognition.
Enjoy the music and be well,
Craig Fenton

Not very secure [Posted on 2007-07-12] These slim jewel cases are actually not as streamlined as another I've bought from Staples. Also, does not snap shut nor does disc fit securely to center snap as that is noticeably small.
Clam shell for your DVD's & CD's [Posted on 2007-10-12] A simple case to carry your DVD or CD that is safer then a sleeve. A little trick is that the case locks and unlocks by pressing the button in the middle.
Each case will hold one CD or DVD.
A better CD storage solution [Posted on 2008-03-01] These are so much better than bulky jewel cases, especially if you're not keeping a bunch CDs stacked on a shelf (when you might need the bigger jewel cases to keep track of them). I use these for CDs and DVDs that get a lot of use and they are great for popping in and out and keeping them protected. They also look nice and can be reused endlessly (I've had a lot of those plastic jewel cases break on me).
If you have a good way to label burned CDs (I have a LightScribe drive that allows me to print directly on the CD) you don't need all the bulk of traditional jewel cases so these are the way to go.
these are handy [Posted on 2008-03-19] I like these little cases. They're much less likely to shatter than the original jewel cases, and they fit quite well into pockets and cars.
