Does the trick. The original battery that came with it just simply died < 1 year into it. This one makes it like a brand new phone. We literally couldn't go a day without charging it - and it would go after 1 phone call!

I contacted the company by email beforehand to be sure I would get the specific model battery and that it was new merchandise in a sealed package (I know this is how new product is delivered by experience). I received a USED battery. I called the company and they told me they did not have new batteries in sealed packages. I told them it was USED, I could tell by the shiny plastic covering showing wear and the gold metal contacts showed wear when inspected with a magnifying glass. When I said I would contact Amazon he said he would refund my money because he was "out of new batteries just now" and didn't want any trouble. It was a plain bait and switch scheme. It was an irritating experience and a waste of my time.
