I love these headphones! I have loved each of the six -- yes, six!! -- pair I've had. I love them so much that every time they quit working, I go back for more.
As a previous reviewer noted, sweat seems to ruin these headphones -- easily. I use them on the treadmill, and each pair has lasted somewhere between six weeks and six months.
If you're buying these for non-workout purposes, I very highly recommend them. If you plan on doing some sweating, either go ahead and buy several pair or keep shopping.
Great fit for runny, but very unreliable [Posted on 2007-04-29]
My first pair came with a Nike/Phillips mp3 player. They fit very well for running, and I haven't found a pair yet, that fits as well. I had problems with loosing the rubber ear-bud covers and problems with the headphones breaking.

These things stink. I never really had an issue with earphone irritation till I purchased these. They are not quite in or out of the ear. Do not be fooled by the sleek look. I would rather wear my no-name earphones than this piece.

These headphones were great for the first 5 weeks -- lightweight, unobtrusive, and decent sound. Then the left sound cut out. Snip. In the middle of a tedious 10miler on the treadmill. That particular workout turned hellishly boring real quick!
I dunno if the sweat from running did 'em in, but considering that the product bills itself as a "Sport" headphone, pretty disappointed at the durability.
Going with the Sennheiser PMX70 instead..hope these new ones last.

There are many other reviews about how poor the construction on these are, how uncomfortable they are, and how they do not handle workouts well. So I'll just list the pros and cons from my experience.
Pros
- lightweight
- inexpensive
- black? don't know if this counts but I was fishing for another pro, why not color, there isn't much else
Cons
- Turn your head right or left and they exert unpleasant pressure on your ear.
- When you do turn your head, they brush against your neck or shirt, and the scratching sound transfers directly into your ear, not that bad but distracting.
- Can't really use them at the gym because of the behind the neck design. When your back is against any seat, bench, equipment, they are forced out of your ears.
-For similar reasons with the uncomfortable design and scratching against clothing, running with them is ok, they stay in better than your standard Ipod freebie ear buds but nowhere near as well as other ear bud designs.

-Sound is ok, I had to adjust my Ipod sound settings for some time because the bass sounds hollow. Other than that they sound good.
I have a second pair of HJ030's and I like those. They suffer from poor handling of sweat and the sound is ok but they are very comfortable for me and even though I am on my second pair and I expect in the future even more replacements...I'll keep getting them for a while because of the adjustable over-the-ear arm and they work for what I want them for..gym workouts and running.
