Great design, right price [Posted on 2008-06-23] Don't expect these to impress you with great bass, but if you're looking for a great pair of light, comfortable headphones with sound quality comparable to that of iPod headphones, these are it. I run a lot, and tried several pairs of similar design, I'm really glad I found these.
Definitely recommend these headphones over Sennheiser PMX70 or Sony As50.
My trusty road companion [Posted on 2008-07-09] I have used these for a few months and never want anything else. The fit is great, very lightweight, and the cable comes out in the neck which ensures you don't have cables tugging on your ears. I simply lead the cable under my shirt to my Nano and hardly notice they are on.
The sound quality is not special, and they are very open so they let a lot of noise in, but I find that excellent for running; I don't expect HiFi sound, and I don't want to miss what is going on around me.
The build quality is good. When I first unpacked them I was doubtful they would last, as light as they are, but they have for months now so no issues for me there. I would and have recommended this product to friends and family.
Nice running headphones [Posted on 2008-07-31] These headphones really feel secure when I'm running. I like how the cable comes out the back so I don't have to worry about it getting snagged on a branch if I'm on a trail. I'd give them 5 stars except that they sometimes come loose when I turn my head too far to the left or right (This my have to do with my longer than average neck, though).
Still confused about the design... [Posted on 2008-08-05] I just received this in the mail today. They are very light, but when I wear them as I think they're meant to be worn, they don't stay in my ears at all. However, my mom suggested that I try wearing them a different way (with the side marked "R" on my left ear, the side marked "L" on my right ear, and the curved parts hooked over each ear - so basically back-to-front and upside-down), and this seems to work far better. No joke. They don't fall out at all. They're still a tad bit uncomfortable, but they seem like they'd actually work pretty well for running. I'm still not sure if the "L"/"R" markings are misplaced and the headphones are actually supposed to be worn this way or not. So give it a shot the other way, maybe that'll work for you too.
They're a good deal if they fit in your ears [Posted on 2008-08-07] I bought these for running primarily due to the cord design. The cord does stay out of your way quite nicely. The sound quality is about what you'd expect in a set of headphones of the price. However, the headphones would not stay in my ears for longer than a couple of minutes. Perhaps I have big ears, but a set of adjustable sized ear plugs would have been ideal. If they fit in your ears, they are a good deal. However, I've sent them back and am again looking for a pair that comes with adjustable sized ear plugs.
