Bad Fit, Sound Awful [Posted on 2008-02-26] I bought these and was very disappointed. I had the same problem as mentioned in a previous review. They wouldn't stay in my ear and it was a pain getting them on. I think they have TOO many adjustments. I feel like the sound quality is awful. Perhaps I had a particular bad set but the high notes were piercing and the low notes were non-existent. By the time I was done with my workout I had a headache. I sent these back. If you are discerning in your audio, especially music, I would not buy these. They may be fine for audio books. I didn't try that.
The best I have found for my small ears... [Posted on 2008-03-11] I have tried several and these are the best for me. Very adjustable, lightweight and serve the purpose of providing music while working out! I'm not looking for high quality sound or noise cancellation here.
Great for smaller ears! I have the Sennhiser PMX70 (around the back of the head with the green cord) and they kill after 20 mins. Too big. Ouch.
I'm going to return these... [Posted on 2008-05-01] I liked the fancy white to go with my green nano. The sound is great and the fit is too. I have small ears and these stay put BUT the damb cord! It's short for arm band users with an extension for waist lenth. The extension part makes it heavier and now it bounces down until it starts to pull at my ears. ANNOYING! I have to readjust the cord each half mile or so.
Did Nike do any product testing? [Posted on 2008-05-17] I'm shocked at how horrible these earphones are, give then price and given they are from Nike. For daily use and around the gym they're comfortable to wear and almost unnoticeable, but the earbuds sit so far out the ear that you have to turn the volume up a lot to drown out the music they're playing in the gym. For running they are completely useless. The constant bouncing of running caused them to fall out in minutes and unless you carefully manage the cord, the slight weight of the cord bouncing caused them to fall out immedatiately.
Someone at Nike needs to be fired.
Nice idea - poor implementation [Posted on 2008-06-07] I bought these headphones to try something different from standard apple headphones. but - how disappointing - and bordering to misleading.
The "extendible" feature is a very heavy metal connector which makes these phones unusable for anything like running or biking. Also the behind the ear foldable things keep on getting tangled up. Back to basic apple headphones for me.
