This is the first tent that I bought. Although I have no comparison I like this one so far. We just camped at Great Smoky. The tent itself is firm and sturdy; it keeps out bugs and dew well. It was cold so we didn't test the ventilation. There was no rain or wind, so I can't say that it will hold as well in bad weather. And this tent looks good compared to many others. It is also not too hard to set up. The only thing is that the original case is too small, so it is difficult to fit the tent back in again

I recently bought this tent and used it during Labor Day Weekend. Anyone from the East Coast knows Hurricane Ernesto made it a wet weekend. So I really put this tent to the test. The tent did leak from the top, not so much. The netting from the inner tent caught the water and it streaked down the sides. However, the zipper to the entrance leaked. We had to keep a towel there to absorb the rain water. Condensation formed at the base of the tent, making it a miserable night to sleep. I'm only 5'8" and I barely had room to lay down. So beware of this tent if you're 5'8" and above. A third person could fit but it would be tight.
The tent is very easy to put together. We got it up in less than 10 minutes while it rained. The front porch canopy was ok at best. Rain would collect on the top so I had to place a rock at the edge to allow the rain water to pour out. When it was open, it made it difficult to enter the tent. Its probably fine for kids though.
Overall for the price you're paying, this tent is fantastic under dry conditions. But in rain, its 3 stars. Wouldn't you rather shell out a few extra bucks for a good rainproof tent rather than sleeping in a leaky damp tent? I know I wish I did.

I loved this tent, It was perfect for me and all my gear. I am five foot three and had more then enough room to put my shoes and a bag infront of my sleeping bag.It was easy to set up and looked real cute too! The canopy in front completed the look and helped me find my tent faster at night. There was a rain storm the first time I ussed it, and I got a few tiny drops on me. So spray it with water proofing stuff the first day you set it up.

I gave this as a Bingo gift - the cousins seemed to love it. It's lightweight and big enough for those kids to hang around in!

Very lightweight and portable. I'd only recommend to sleep two people, unless you are an adult and two toddlers!
