I liked the stands alot. They looknice plus they are the same brand as my surround system. I looked at other stands and they didn't look as nice as the Onkyo. They are very sturdy and they don't take up alot of room.

Product arrived as described and I am very happy with the purchase. The base is well weighted to provide stability. The speakers are modern in appearnace and place the speakers at ear height (when seated) to deliver excellent Onkyo sound. Very easy to set up-- took me about 20 minutes from opening the box to full set up. Delivered in two days as requested.
nice stand after a trip to the hardware store [Posted on 2008-02-08]
The are good, but grossly over priced stands. The screws that mount the base to the stand were about half the length needed. I bought 1 inch screws (1/2 inch supplied with stands) which solved the problem. Don't waste a day like I did trying to make the screws work. Get the to a hardware store, take one of the base screws with you, and buy 7 in case you lose one. Make sure the threads are the same. This will solve the problem, and keep your blood pressure down, too.
Onkyo Speakers Stand up to the test [Posted on 2008-04-06]
A solid, well build, attractive stand that's easy to assemble. The price seemed a bit high compared to the actual price of the speakers but I must say it fits "hand in glove" and the base plate has considerable counterweight to support the stand's height.

These stands are well put together, my AV guy said they were the best he had seen. very heavy and sturdy and a good height for me. i bought Onkyo 7.1 system but im only using 5.1 speakers as it was a bit much to go with all 7.1 very happy with the product so if you need stands its two thumbs up.
