This personal sound amplifier is a total waste of money. It picks up sound alright. EVERY sound ! It picks up the TV alright, and the air conditioner, and each and every sound you hear. Absolutely no help at all unless you would like to hear your stomach growl.

Ordered this for husband who has hearing problem in one ear. All you get is a lot of amplified noise from you breathing, talking, or background noise. It doesn't amplify the tv at all.
Not worth the price and definitely needs to go back to the drawing board!
Has a lot of "tinny" background noise.

My husband kept seeing this on TV and wanted it every time; so I bought it for him for fun. It works great - he is hard of hearing and could hear me talk normal in while I was cooking in the kitchen and the TV was blaring - maybe no more blaring TV for me? It works great, he's quite happy with it and I'm looking forward to it being a little quieter around here :)

I did not like this product. I found it to be very irritating to my ears. Whenever I attempted to touch the unit to adjust it or to reposition it, it made a lot of undesirable noise. I have discarded the device.

Worthless, about what you would expect for the price. My mom decided
she wanted one of these (even though she hears better than I). No
filtering so all background noise is amplified as well, making it
of no use in most all situations.
