Not too terrible. [Posted on 2006-11-22] I thought these would be irritating, but I ended up forgetting they were attached to my ears. As long as there's no pulling of the cords they stay in place with no problems whatsoever. The sound quality is nice enough to let you focus on what you're listening to (I had audiobooks and music) while still being aware of sounds beyond the earphones. Some people might find that irritating, I'm sure, but it's very useful when you need to be yanked out of a musical reverie while travelling or driving. People with hearing aids and glasses might have trouble wearing these if they have small ears or big earpieces. Nobody else in my house could even figure out how to put them on.
Greatest (Cheap) Headphones... ever [Posted on 2007-04-04] I bought my first pair of these 15 months ago at Circuit City. When I lost the first set, I went to three different Brick and Mortar stores to find this specific model. I finally gave up and ordered the second set from Amazon. I'm just now about to order my third pair and I'll probably buy a few extra sets.
These things are great. They're lightweight and very comfortable. The sound quality is fine. The plastic over-ear piece is much more comfortable than other some of the other over-ear clips I've used. I absolutely love the volume adjustment. It keeps me from needing to constantly reach into my coat for the iPod to adjust the volume. Also, the cord split is just right. Some headphones don't give enough "split" length in the cord, so the headphones will ride up under the chin. Others will give an uneven split, so the cord rides to one side. Not the case. The cord is split perfectly.
If I could change anything, I'd like a bit more volume. Sometimes if I'm at the gym and it's loud, I'd like to pump up the volume a bit more... but unless you're listening to heavy metal, I wouldn't let that deter you.
In sum, I love these things. They're great, and affordable. Panasonic's done well with this model.
Comfortable... but quiet. [Posted on 2007-12-07] These are nice headphones, but they are very quiet. Since I bought these for work, I should be satisfied with the volume level as I could easily get in trouble if a supervisor can't get my attention.
But I think I'm going to see if I can find some louder ones anyway.
Panasonic clip on earphones [Posted on 2008-06-16] I have found this inexpensive type of earphones to be superior to earbuds. One part goes over each ear (like eye glasses)- & the heads are hinged to swing into place. The comfort level is surprising. Unlike ear buds, they tend to stay in place.Performance is also superior to earbuds. The jack is pretty standard, fitting most audio devices, such as Walkman; iPod; my stereo. etc.
Best headphones [Posted on 2008-08-24] I've had this model for 4+ years now; it is amazing how it survived for such a long time, especially being carried in my messy purse :)
Also in-cord volume control is a ver useful feature when it's hard to access the player itself and you want to just quickly adjust the music loudness.
The most important advantage is easiness of wearing. I could never stand earbud headphones since they don't hold in my ears at all.
