I've been researching headphones for a couple of weeks. I was debating between the JBL 410's and this one. I went out and bought both. I found the JBL's had alot of bass to them and seemed a bit delicate (especially the wire), and was uncomfortable after 10min. When I put these headphones, WOW what a difference! I didn't want to take them off. Just enough bass and just enough treble, and much louder! If your looking for headphones that are comfortable, sound great, looks good, light weight, great quality, blocks out the outside noise, and under $50,....well....these are the headphones for you.

Great value for the price. Sound is excellent, especially if you like bass. They are a little funny looking on my head, but at 57 years old I really don't care. They are the most comfortable headphones I have ever had, and I've owned quite a few.

I got these for about $40.00 including s&h from Dell for small business and they are definitely worth more than I paid. If you plan on getting a pair do no buy them here on Amazon at the $89.99 price as they are trying to rob you. It may sound like a much more expensive set of phones but that doesn't mean you need to get robbed by a seller, and it is not being sold by Amazon themselves. Amazon tends to have MUCH better prices.

That line is one of the main reasons I chose these particular headphones. There was no extension cord and the model number on them is RP-HTX7, maybe the PP-K version has the extension. Glad I got them when I did though, it used to say the vendor was Amazon and they were priced at $59.99. Now the price is $89.99 and it says the vendor is Toyzz. Also, the picture is a bit deceiving, the outer plastic part looks matte in the photo (even the large version) yet is very shiny in reality.
For me personally the sound is great on them though I am not known for being sensitive to slight distinctions in sound as many others are. I mainly just liked the retro styling and the extension, which I didn't receive. I'm not going to return them and hope the "new vendor" has them as advertised though, I'm sure I can find a suitable extension for under $30.
