Economical mount [Posted on 2008-08-14] A good mount at a good price. Directions assume technical knowledge, but not a difficult mount to install, with what is provided and some of your own tools. Shipping wasn't flawless (reason for 4 stars), didn't arrive on scheduled date. One phone call to Amazon, they tracked down the problem and had one to me in 2 days. Great Customer Service.
Good frame, beware of instructions [Posted on 2008-08-15] Good frame and hardware. Fit my Panasonic 46" plasma perfectly. However, the instructions almost led to an installation error. The instructions stated that the top mounting bolts of the frame should be measured at 6.2" above the center of the screen. Luckily, I decided to mount the brackets on the TV, then put the frame on while the TV was on the ground and measure to the top of the TV from the top of the frame. There was 2" more to the top of the TV then when following the 6.2" instructions. If I would have mounted the frame as originally measured, the screen would have been 2" too high. Please take my advice and measure out the actual distance with the frame on the brackets before you hang the frame.
Worked Great. [Posted on 2008-09-09] Screw buying these wall mounts for 400% mark up at Best Buy... this thing did the trick for 25% of the price. It was easy to use and the instructions were actually in english. It holds up my 52" Samsung 1080P perfectly.
This thing works great!!!! [Posted on 2008-09-23] This bracket holds up my 52 inch TV with no problem. It is also easy to adjust. I would recommend it.
Sturdy, but tilt adjustments are a chore [Posted on 2008-09-30] I bought this wall mount over others because it can be tilted upwards 5 degrees, allowing easier access to cables on the back of the TV. The hand-tightened screws which allow setting the tilt angle are not adequate for my 50" plasma -- the TV tilt angle slowly drops down to face the floor (greater than 20 degrees tilt). Thus, you must use a special hex tool supplied with the mount to set the tilt angle in fixed 5 degree increments. However, inserting the required screws in one of the 5 degree increments with the special hex tool is next to impossible. You're better off just calling the neighbor and lifting the TV off the wall, make your cable changes, and lift it back up on the wall again. Works fine otherwise.
