Customer Reviews:

Awesome for the price [Posted on 2006-09-01]
I use these headphones on a daily basis for work ~ for less than $20 bucks, you get cushy pads around the ears, adjustable volume for each ear, and only one cord into one of the earpieces to work with, so you're not constantly tangling yourself up.

The only thing that could have made these better would have been one of those coiled cords, to make storage easier.

Other than that, these are really great for the price!!

Excellent [Posted on 2006-09-12]
I've had these for over 5 years. They have a great sound and fit perfectly. The over-the-ear design helps to block out some ambient sound. The single cord keeps you from getting all tangled up. Perfect for the office, which is where mine lives.

After 5 years, the only things wrong are that the volume wheel on the left ear is starting to get loose and sometimes shorts out. Also, the soft vinyl(?) covering on the padding is tearing away, exposing the foam. That is with almost daily use.

For big heads only [Posted on 2008-01-19]
I bought a pair for use at work and I loved them, so I ordered another pair for at home. Too bad they had changed them so that they were too big for my head. It was a big disappointment. I hate when things get "updated" in a bad way. Fortunately they paid the return postage...

5 Stars for the Value for what I paid for [Posted on 2008-03-04]
I am easily distracted by the sounds of coworkers snapping gum, eating sunflower seeds or clipping fingernails. Rather than be a complainer, I used little headphones and cranked my music. It helped until the little headphones broke. I went running to the corner store and found these on sale. That was 3 years ago. They are great. Their extra large size really helped cut out surrounding noise, and gave the added bonus of better music tones than my little headphones gave me. Mine are the same model number but they look a little different. Mine being the Philips Headphone "SBC" HP170, I think the SBC = more padding around the ears? Hard to say with that photo here. But they do look a bit different. Definitely worth the price I paid and then some.

THE BEST HEADPHONES EVER!!! [Posted on 2008-07-16]
don't listen to those another lame whiny reviews, these headphones rock! i've been using these headphones for years now and i love them! the sound is loud and clear and very comfortable to wear. and i love the fact that there's volume control for them. it sucks that they don't sell them as much as they used to. and it's rare to find them online but i am glad i am able to find them cause i would not use any other headphones besides these.
