Does the job [Posted on 2007-03-19] My husband installed, and was not an "easy" job. Sound quality of FM transmitter not that great, but casette connection better.
Umm, it is so great? [Posted on 2007-04-11] Well, seeing how I was kinda forced to buy this freakin 70$ item in order to enjoy my Inno in my car, all I can comment on is how good it is, which I will say is satisfactory.
Thanks Pioneer for packaging up alot of crap I didn't need like another remote and jacking the price up.
The cradle is adequete and holds the Inno like a new born child. The wires are really fantastic, they are black and rubbery and carry a signal to the unit. The power cord does a magnificent job of supplying electricity to the unit. I especially love the remote..er..remotes I have.
Umm...yeah.
Nice accessory but poor sound quality [Posted on 2007-05-07] I got the in-car kit that interfaces with the cassette player. The antenna and mounting brackets are top quality and I get good reception everywhere. But the sound quality delivered through the cassete adapter is flat. It doesn't even sound like 2 channel stereo, more like mono. The accessory manual even mentions that sound quality with the cassette was not as good as headphones as did another review I read online. Its disappointing. Amazon, as always, was convenient fair priced and shipped fast.
Inno Car doc works great. I only wish the home doc had the same features! [Posted on 2007-07-03] The Car Doc itself is everything it is billed as and works just fine. I'm somewhat annoyed that Pioneer disabled the FM Broadcast functionality (where you can listen to the Inno via an FM Radio) so that that feature is ONLY enabled within the Inno when docked in the "car" doc (vs. the home dock). This means that if you want the superior quality of listening to the Inno via a home FM receiver you cannot use the home doc that comes free with the Inno. Instead, you have to pay another car doc and use it in your home. This seems like a complete rip-off especially on a purchase that wasn't inexpensive to begin with.
Works good. [Posted on 2007-11-13] Of course you have to run the car XM antenna under the dash and around the car trimming but over all the install is easy and it works just as I expected. Makes using your Inno in your car a breeze.
