I recently bought a macbook and wanted to invest in protecting the keyboard, as I like to keep things as new as possible for resale value. I purchased a rasfox keyboard skin after reading all the reviews on amazon.
The keyboard skin fits perfectly upon the keyboard and there is symbol, lettering, and numbering on the silicone skin for those wondering. I am a satisfied customer.
Damaging for the long haul [Posted on 2008-06-25]
I was hesitant to buy a one of these Macbook keyboard covers at first because other reviews mentioned the corners flapping/lack of sticking and the residue it leaves on the screen. This wasn't too bad of a problem...
However, I noticed two spots on my screen. Those little bumps you'll find on the F and J keys pushed against the screen through the keyboard cover and over time left permanent marks. I quit using the cover to avoid further damage.
Bottom line: not worth the damage, especially when you have to deal with constant cleaning of the screen and the annoyance of the sides flapping up anyway. USE A MR. CLEAN MAGIC ERASER INSTEAD to clean your keyboard area...works great on white Macbooks.

Great skin considering it's still a skin. You can still type fairly well, I love the pink color, and it's pretty thin. I got it to keep my white keys white, and it works great for that. Still is not the same as direct contact with the keyboard, but it does give you a better grip.

I bought this cover to protect my Mac keyboard but it doesn't stay on properly when you type. By the time I realized it and tried to return it I was out of the 7 day period to return. If you do buy this, make sure you try it out quickly b/c otherwise you will run out of your return time.

Like the cover because it protects Bit awkward to get used to, but very good once you do. My only real complaint is that it pulls off when I open the laptop and when it pulls off stuff, like dog hairs, etc, get stuck on tacky backside, which are very difficult to get off.
