Great product for the price. As the manual states, it needs to be reset to zero occasionally after high winds; just a matter of pressing a button on the remote.

I have had mine intalled for less than a year, and during the cold weather it will not rotate. That was the reason I replaced the old one. Also, it will not rotate a full 360 degrees, more like 340. The directions do not seem to be correct in that the buttons that are mentioned to complete various tasks do not correspond with the buttons that actually seem to be active. I have not found any place in the instructions for support. There has to be better ones on the market.

The rotor and instructions for installing the rotor and control box were very easy to understand and implement. However, I cannot turn the control box on or off with the remote control. I also cannot find anywhere a phone number for customer support.
Great Rotor for Digital TV Stations [Posted on 2007-03-15]
I live in a rural area that requires a large antenna to receive over-the-air TV broadcasts. I recently purchased an HDTV , and have found that it is VERY sensitive to the slightest change in antenna direction. The TV stations are many miles away, and just a small change in direction makes a big difference in signal strength.
This antenna rotor with its remote control works great for this type of service. I am able to kick back in my recliner and fine-tune for the best signal strength. The unit allows you to lock in the final setting so that you only need to fine-tune only once. It has a capacity of nine memory locations, which should meet most needs.
The remote included with the antenna may also be programmed to control other devices, however it is limited in this capacity. It is more than adequate for operating the rotor.
Installation was simple, and the instructions are easy to follow. Construction of the components seems to be of high quality and durable. All in all, it more than meets my needs.
OK For the Money [Posted on 2007-04-13]
This unit is classed as a lightwieght rotator. It IS NOT suitable for very large Ham antennas or for use in very high (over 50') situations, this is my opinion. That said I am unsing a Wineguard 9095 8' antenna for HD broadcasts and it is not necessary for me to rotate the unit very much. The remote works fine and I recommemd zeroing the unit AFTER you install it but BEFORE you put the antenna on it. Use a piece of white tape with a black mark to see the movement. My only gripe is in the VERY scimpy control wire, it is very thin and should be tossed out and replaced with a more heavy guage 4 conductor wire.
