Can't beat this product [Posted on 2008-08-08] The SD card was purchased for a Canon digital camera. It has exceeded my expectations in durability and number of recorded inmages. The card is a perfect match for the Canon SX100 IS.
Nancy Punter [Posted on 2008-08-18] Been using the SanDisk with my new camera and it is working great. The price was excellent for this SanDisk. I would recommend buying it online as you will definitely save money on it.
two thumbs up [Posted on 2008-08-31] works great, holds 1048 images on my 6mp camera; or, an hour of video. highly recommend.
The Original the Best THE SANDISK [Posted on 2008-09-05] When 2 gb cards came out a Sony SD card was priced at $170.
I paid 12 for this one BRAND NEW, and she is WOWO OH WOWO.
Excellent Deal for those of us with older gadgets [Posted on 2008-09-05] SanDisk Rules! Grabbed another set when Blue Proton(BP) offered excellent price with S/H. Should have waited a week for BP to return it to regular <$10 (including SH) price because they give you a free ($6 value) SD card reader when you buy 2. Oh well, cést la vie when one is impulse buying. SD regular is harder and harder to find and no luck finding 4GB SD regular anymore without an outrageous price tag. Prefer San Disk to cheaper versions because the lock key works and stays put. SD is also only what older devices like Palm TX and older camera accomodates. Even though newer SDHC cards are competitive in price, they are useless if older gear cannot take or read them. Each 2GB holds about 2-3 hours of video in .avi files for a portable movie player(PMP). An inexpensive to free card reader reads sizes up to 4GB in my experience. Keep in mind the most critical review was written in 2006 on Amazon and technology has improved since. Tip: label your card in properties to distinguish them. They also come with a 5 yr warranty so keep your receipts and file away with a 5yr exp date. It's data storage so it holds all sorts of files for usage/transfer and even portable applications. Note for Palm nuts: do not use this on a E2 which only reads up to 1GB. Always check your device's specs/restrictions before buying media.
