BEST CHOICE!! [Posted on 2008-08-23] $24 for 8gigs... WOW!!
Plugged right in to my new Treo 800w from Sprint. Now I can load all my programs/music/ringtones/games and still have massive space left.
Shipping was fast too.
Buy the Adapter [Posted on 2008-08-27] Contrary to what faffie says, the product DOES NOT COME WITH AN ADAPTER. I need to go the electronic store now to buy an adapter. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid by reading the reviews and by ordering online. Oh well.
WARNING! MAKE SURE YOU GET WHAT YOU BOUGHT! [Posted on 2008-08-28] The card itself is great. It has worked great for my phone for holding music.
I had to buy this card from several different sellers/vendors before I received the correct card. The item description says the card being sold is a Class 4 card. This means that it is rated at a data transfer speed of at least 4 megabytes a second. I bought this card from 2 different sellers that shipped me a Class 2 card. I emailed several other sellers, and they told me that they were only selling Class 2 cards as well.
Class 4 cards are twice as fast as Class 2 cards. If the item description says Class 4, I want to receive a Class 4 card. When you receive your card, look in the corner to see if you were shipped a Class 2 or a Class 4. Many of the sellers told me that SanDisk is now switching to the Class 2, but even if that is true, they shouldn't be selling them in this item listing, as it specifically lists Class 4 in the item description, and it shows in the pictures. A new item listing should be started for Class 2 cards for those sellers who don't have any Class 4 cards.
HUGE, SPEEDY Storage! [Posted on 2008-08-31] Wow! We finally can get 8 GB of storage on one of these tiny little MicroSD cards! And, this is a Class 4, which is really fast! These are really handy, because I can use them to transfer files between my cell phone, laptop, computer, and other devices! (Have to use adapters for some).
I was amazed at the speed! This thing is VERY fast, and does not make me wait forever to transfer large files to it! I was very excited about that!
The price is INSANELY low! I was very excited to see such a great item at such a low price! This is definitely a good buy!
Works great! [Posted on 2008-08-31] Just got one of these 8-gig micro SD cards for my new Verizon phone (Motorola Adventure V750). It works great! Going to get another for my Sandisk Sansa e280.
