Price is good, quality is questionable [Posted on 2007-09-25] I bought the SanDisk Sansa Speaker Dock almost a year ago and I rarely use it because I'm not too happy with the sound quality. Since I absolutely love my Sansa e130, I assumed the dock would be great, it's not. The music plays slow, reminds me of batteries wearing out BUT it's plugged in, so it's a mystery to me. Also, the volume is a problem too. It doesn't play loud and when I do have to change the volume, it's not an exact science (for lack of a better description).
I would not recommend this to anyone but since I didn't pay too much, I'm not too annoyed (just disappointed).
Sandisk Sansa Speaker Dock [Posted on 2007-10-20] The Sound is okay. I was disappointed it didn't come with a remote.
I wanted to use it to sing accompaniment music with. It would have been better to have a handle for portability and the mp3 holders really didn't fit my Sansa MP3 Player. I am disappointed that there are not many options out there for my Sansa MP3 Player and I believe that the IPODs are not user friendly for my type of home made music recordings.
Customer Support is a joke [Posted on 2007-12-09] I bought this speaker dock. When it was delivered I was uncertain if it would work with my Sansa e260 MP3 player. I wrote the company and waited 2 days for a response. I received none. I wrote to Amazon and they forwarded my email to Adorama Camera. Two more days went by and I received this response:
"dear sir
try contacting either mfr
and see what they say"
They don't know about the products they sell and are unwilling to do any leg work to find out.
I am asking them how to get my money back. I'll buy from a vendor that wants to help their customers not wait 4 days to respond then pawn them off on the mfr.
I will never buy from this vendor again!
Linda [Posted on 2008-01-14] After reading previous reviews I was a little apprehensive about ordering this unit. I was concerned that my e260 player would not work with this unit. When I received the product I found that neither clip would fit on my SanDisk unit. The plug fit and if I leaned the unit against the speakers it would work, although not a great option. I had an epiphany and realized that the arm band cover that I got with my e260 had a clip on the back. I placed one of the two clips that came with the speaker into the speaker unit and clipped the e260 in the arm band to the unit. It now holds the mp3 player in place, though not in the actual slot provided. It is good enough, though I would like to see Sansa come out with a speaker dock that runs on AC as well as batteries that fits all of their units. Sansa's tech support and user guides are sorley lacking as are their accessories. The sound is great and I would give it five stars if the disk fit into the holder. That said, if I had to do it again, I would buy an Ipod so that I could have more options and better tech support.
SanDisk Speaker Dock [Posted on 2008-04-09] The docking station has a good sound and does not take up much space. It also can run off batteries so I can take it anywhere. When I ordered my first one it sounded so good I ordered another one to take up north.
