Scosche Bluetooth Headphones are COOL [Posted on 2006-10-30] they work fine for my first set of bluetooth headphones...the delay is not very noticeable when editing sound, but does exist...they adjust fine for comfort...the volume control is a bit cumbersome and i am not able to locate the adjust buttons easily without taking the headset off...the flip down mic is a very nice feature and my friend tells me the reception is good...they don't power off automatically, but this is a good thing for me as the batteries last a good eight hours or more...and they look COOL too!
Good, but not good enough [Posted on 2007-08-26] My first day with this device was very impressive. The promise of this device is fantastic - connect to any audio output and listen! What can be better then that? I charged it and paired it with my phone first. It worked great initially. Sound quality was good and the other side was able to hear me really well. However, once I started walking, stuttering began. I then tried it with my iPod. First, I must say that when there are no delays or stuttering, the sound quality is really good, actually quite impressive, both under home or outdoor conditions. However, the biggest problem I have encountered with the device is that its constantly stuttering. Whether I use the phone, the iPod or my computer's audio out - the results are great for brief periods, until it begins stuttering. Feels like the engineers did not get the buffering down. The result is that, unless this is somehow a faulty device that can be replaced, I will definitely return the product. Very disappointing so far. For the price, I would have expected a flawless experience.
Part II. Not surprisingly, my device stopped functioning a few days ago. It loses its charge after about 5 minutes of use, no matter how long it has been charged. I called Scosche's technical support several times, and finally they agreed to replace the unit. I am sending it over and will report on progress.
