These are good headphones that the average person will be well satisfied with. They're certainly not Pro, and you pay for what you get when it comes to headphones. This product is good for the little money you put into it-- if that's not your cup of tea, start looking at something over a hundred dollars.

So I got these headphones about a month ago for $30 I think. And before I had the sony $20 studio headphones. Honestly I didnt think for an additional $10 the quality would be so amazing. The bass sounds great but that's true of just about all Sennheisers. The only reason I'm giving this a 4 is because it takes time to get used to the ear pads, they made my ears extremely sore for like the first week. But after that it's just fine. Something I would recommend is the book trick. Get some hard cover book (like a text book) and stretch them over it for maybe 30 minutes at a time? It stretches the pads out a bit so they are far more comfortable. If you don't have a lot of money to spend, these are the best around-the-ear headphones you can probably buy.

I have used these quite a bit and I have to say, these are awesome.
1) Late night movies when I don't want to wake the family - From explosions to quiet dialogue, every second is clear.
2) Yard work - These are not noise canceling of course, but they do a pretty good job of muffling that weed whacker, with or without the iPod.
3) Music - This is the main reason I bought these. I mainly use them for recording, and plugged direct into a Line 6 Pod XT. Great highs, great bass, and distortion never sounded so warm... at least not at this price.

I've been a DJ and sound man for local bands in the past. I use these phones on a SONY NWZ-816 MP3 player and WOW let me say the best most comfortable phone's I had ever owned!!!Great price!Smooth high's & deep low's They fit around your ears but aren't so big and gaudy.They are not as big as I thought!That is a good thing for on the go! They even block outside noise very well, I'll be buying another pair for back up at this price!Those german's know how too make some quality products I'll tell you what!!!WOW!!!!!
