Sennheiser PMX60 Headpones [Posted on 2008-05-14] Well built, pretty comfortable but lack adjustable head strap. Sound quality is pretty good but a bit flat. Excellent for wearing on the go, at the gym or jogging.
Terriffic Headphones [Posted on 2008-05-24] I purchased these headphones after my KOSS KTXPRO1 headphones broke for a second time. They were my gym headphones. I use these for anything physical - running, lifting, whatever. At first they seemed uncomfortable, but I got used to the behind-the-head style very quickly. They don't put out as much bass as the KTXPRO1's, which I loved, but they still do very well quality wise. These things will NOT fall off. Also, while I'm in the gym, they don't seem to bleed much sound, even when I crank it up high. They seem to if you're in a quiet area though.
The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I was slightly disappointed by the amount of bass put out. These are really good headphones though, especially if purchased to be your gym headphones.
Very good headphones [Posted on 2008-06-09] Got these to replace the ones that came with my mp3 player. Had thought the originals were okay, but in a comparison, there is no comparison. The sound is much fuller and the bass is fine. I don't have to turn up the player as much and get more volume. I am very pleased with these. The fit is good, though they do occasionally ride back and put pressure on the tops of my ears. It just requires an occasional adjustment; nothing bothersome to me. If there are better out there, I'm not paying for them! Great balance between cost and performance.
Great headphones. [Posted on 2008-06-18] I have been a fan of Sennheiser for over 25 years. The PMX60 is very lightweight and comfortable, but what prompted me to get this pair was that my son commandeered my other set because he liked them so much.
The bass is rich, full and distortion free. The PMX60 can handle gut-churning lows that have made other headphones (and some speakers) distort to the point of sounding like farts. (I recommends the opening bass notes of "Mirror in the Bathroom" by The English Beat on the "Dance Craze" soundtrack as a test. Many higher priced headphones have failed this test.) Also, the highs are crisp and clear.
not good enough [Posted on 2008-06-30] The Sennheiser PMX60 headphones do not fit well, so how can you tell what the sound quality is? It's my first Sennheiser purchase, but I can't view any difference in the pictures. I wanted a snug, well-fitting, light-weight neckband design that delivered great sound quality. Can someone help me with this? These slip, fall, do not stay where needed.
Also, an in-line volume control is a great added feature.
