My title tells it all. I've purchased three of these and each one gets commandeered by my husband. He's a die-hard sennheiser fan now. He listens to All types of music and nothing sounds bad with these earphones from heavy metal to jazz to alternative. I'm hiding the next ones in my car so I get to use them. Try sennheiser before you buy a better known earphone that does the same or worse at a much higher price.

The Sound quality is very good. The Headphones sit on your ear. These are Over-the-Head Headphones, not Behind-the-Neck Headphones. The reason for Four (4) Stars instead of Five (5) Stars is that wires come out of both sides rather than just one side.

I bought these headphones after searching website after website and review after review. I have had no major problems with the headphones; they are in good working order and have no major defects. The sound quality is good (much better than my previous earbuds), and they are stylish enough to wear in a design firm (where I work) and their 'foldability' is so much easier to master than what other people have said (i didn't have to read any directions). The price wasn't too extreme which was a selling point as well. I recommend them - just make sure you are careful with them because they aren't as hefty as the $100 headphones, but they have a much better sound quality than the $20 ones. All in all a good middle ground.
Good iPod earbud replacement [Posted on 2008-06-30]
I bought these headphones primarily for my iPod and music+games on my laptop. The iPod earbuds arent all that bad but I was ready for something better and after a lot of shopping I settled on a pair of these.
I really didnt want an over-the-ear set and preferred open air even though my old Sony's have seen years of use and still sound great. Because of this however it does bleed noise to the outside and is not so good for environments that might disturb people. Also, it is made with light weight construction that some describe as flimsy. Just treat it like you would a pair of glasses.
They are comfortable and not that noticeable on my head but if they are too high they push against the rim of my glasses behind my ears and hurt after awhile. Once adjusted they fit perfectly. Cord length is just right. Sound quality is very good but dont expect the same as you would get out of a $200 set. It also wont miraculously turn 128kbps mp3's into CD quality but makes the most of what it gets. Obviously you need to crank up the volume on the iPod to drive the bigger speakers.
Lastly, in the end I should have bought the black pair instead. These look perfect with my iPod but stand out like a sore thumb over my black hair.
