Suprisingly good sound, and very portable [Posted on 2008-04-10]
So, I wasn't expecting a lot with this unit. I know next to nothing about Skullcandy as a company, but the cost was reasonable and I liked the look of the item.
I was quite surprised once I got it - the sound is far better than I would have expected - granted, it's not got a ton of bass, but that's the trade off for portable speakers this small. At very high volume it starts to get rough, but since I'm using this at my desk at work, and I'm in an open-cube situation, so I listen to it at a very low volume - and for that, it's very, very good.
It's also smaller than I had envisioned and I had failed to notice that it will also run on 4 AAA batteries, making it very portable. It also comes with dock adapters for the new Nanos and the newer Shuffles.
All in all it's a pretty good value, so far.

NOT iPhone compatible [Posted on 2008-08-04]
Despite its title this does not work with iPhone unless you mean it that every 15 secs or so it emits a blast of GSM interference that would wake the dead... To Apple's credit as soon as you plug the iPhone in, a warning cmes up saying this device is incompatible.
