Very Good [Posted on 2008-06-02] This Is an excellent charger. Not as fast as some, but the charge indicator and the ability to run periodic complete discharges are really useful. The only thing missing is a switch. Plugging and unplugging can get to be a drag if you have a lot of batteries to charge, which I do.
The biggest plus is the ease with which I can spot the single battery in a set that is dead or dying, and substitute another of the same type from a different set with other batteries dying.
The greatest charger, very good batteries [Posted on 2008-06-02] Love this charger! You can charge individual batteries, in case you have something that requires 3 or 1 which is really usefull. I charges fairly quickly but do not expect it to be 10 minutes, but I have no rush since the SONY batteries last sooo long. I have a Nikon Coolpix P50 and I took and reviewed almost 1000 photos and a video with a single pair of batteries and only use the second one when I needed to copy the photos to the computer.
The feature of that display with the exact charge of each battery is wonderful, used it even to measure some already charged batteries.
Nickel metal hydride batteries and charger [Posted on 2008-06-08] A nice product with good battery life and features, but I think the LCD monitor/display functions were over-hyped in the product description - made it seem more clever than it is and by implication what one should select over the simpler model. Actual performance comparison data (charging time, battery life, etc) for their several charges would be nice. It would be more convenient for travel without such a long cord.

Bad batteries [Posted on 2008-06-27] I believe I received faulty batteries with this charger. Would charge them, leave for one day and my camera would not even power up. Tried several times to recharge and ended up throwing them into the garbage can.
Fast & efficient [Posted on 2008-06-29] Really glad I bought this unit. It's fast and easy to use. Didn't know when I bought it that it could also recondition batteries. That, and the LCD display are a definite plus. It's also contoured very nicely so it slides in and out of camera/computer case pockets easily.
