Don't Buy!! [Posted on 2008-01-28] I bought one for my wife for her Pink A816 player. The navigation buttons don't work at all once it's inside the case. When trying to hit the play/pause button it might hit up, down, etc. My brother has this case as well and has the same issue. You'll need to cut the holes out if you want to use it fully while inside the case. The volume, option, back button works fine though. Go for the clear hard case or silicone unless you must have this one.

Perfect fit. [Posted on 2008-02-11] The cover is a sony product so it has the buttons outfitted in the leather so you can "press" through the leather carrying case. Works really well. Definitely can recommend.
Great Case [Posted on 2008-02-16] The leather case fits perfectly around the player. It's shaped in a way that allows easy access to all the control with only a couple minor issues that aren't enough to cost it a star in my opinion.
The leather makes the buttons less tactile, and on a couple occasions when I was fiddling with the volume while walking, I ended up turning it down without realizing it at first. Very rarely, however, do I hit the wrong navigation controls. The face of the case is shaped the same way as the player, so it's easy to tell what button you're pressing.
You also can't access the Hold switch while the case is on, but with the magnetic cover over the front, it's unlikely something is going to get bumped by accident anyway.
The lack of a screen cover worried me at first, but as long as you keep the flap down when you're not watching a video or using the controls, it shouldn't be in any danger. Plus it's easier to get the player back out with no screen cover built into the case.
As an aside, I love the karabiner clip on this thing. I usually end up leaving it clipped to my belt loop all day even when I'm not using it. It makes it convenient to pop my headphones in (since the jack faces up when it's clipped onto something) when I feel like listening to something. =)
Does not fit the NWZ-A829 [Posted on 2008-06-30] Leather Case does not fit in any way.
Even if you could get it in the case, it dosen't match the buttons.
5+ Stars [Posted on 2008-07-01] A great little case. Buy it and you won't be sorry. It is worth the extra $$ to keep your player from getting scratched up.
