not worth it [Posted on 2007-08-17] The noise canceling is like non existent. Much better noise cancelling with over ear headphones I have. Bought these to use bicycling with public transportation. I will continue to lug around the over ear headphones to use on public transportation. Don't waste your $ like I did.
The best I've ever had [Posted on 2008-01-11] The reviews indicate that the Sony noise-cancelling earbuds are the best you can buy for the price, and I wholeheartedly concur. They work well with my iPod and iPhone (a Belkin adaptor/connector is needed for the iPhone), and I love using them on the plane. They do a great job cancelling noise on the plane, and I even use them as earplugs to help me sleep on long flights. The battery is long-lasting (AAA), and the cloth carrying case makes them easy to store anywhere. I've had mine over four years now, and they're still doing great. I'm just now going in to buy a set for my friend.
MDR-NC11 [Posted on 2008-03-18] Not a favorite. I've gone back to the over-ear unit I was using prior to this purchase.
would recomend [Posted on 2008-05-14] i would recomend this company to everyone, the product was exactly as described....but my son decided he didnt want them, returning them was a piece of cake.they refunded my money, no questions asked.i would and will shop with them again
Decent but doesn't last [Posted on 2008-09-01] I bought a pair when it first came out mainly for use during plane commutes. The in-ear feature takes a bit to adjust to but it works well on the plane and the volume feature is useful. However, when I tried these on while working out, they kept falling off my ears because of outer shape of the heardphone. Sadly, less than a year, the sound was also completely lost in one earphone. I'm a sony worshipper but for the price and the brand, I expected better quality and better fit. I think I'll have to find other brand for my new pair.
