Good Quality - VCR Playback is exceptional - For those of you like me that still has a number of VHS not yet replaced/copied to DVD formats this is a very nice device.

It was a mistake to buy this unit.I would sent it back if I had the packing that got thrown out. I bought this as a present for a friend and she could not use it because it has no tuner in it. I dont even know why they make one like this.I basically thew my money away and will probably throw away the brand new unit the next time I get pissed off.

Highly reccommend. Works fine with my other components. Just remember this a "tunerless" DVD/VCR combo player.

I'm not sure why all these people are saying that they can't record anything off cable without a box. I have this model, I don't have a cable box, and I record shows all the time. Maybe there's some trick to it?
