Really Neat Device! [Posted on 2008-11-12]
I ordered a Soundfly device and wasn't sure what to expect. When it came, I tried it out and it worked faily well, but it seemed like the transmitter in it wasn't powerful enough. Shortly after the device arrived, I got an email asking me how I liked it. I replied that it worked pretty well, but was somewhat unhappy about the occasional fuzziness. Shortly after that, I got another email saying that they were sending me a different one and it included a pre-paid return label.
So now I tried the new one and it works great! No fuzziness and the music sounds great. I would recommend it to anyone. It is especially good for me since I don't have an iPod and didn't really want one. I just wanted to play MP3's in my car that only has a casette with the radio. This is perfect.

I bought it after reading its reviews.
It met my requirements. Its already 6 months over I bought it.
Its working fine till now. Only one thing I dont like in this piece is directory structure to store songs. It did not allow you more than 2 levels of directory structure. Thats only the problem. Its giving FM Radio quality sound. You cannot expect more than that. Because FM sound quality is depend on sound system in your car.

The product performs as advertised. It has the ability to play MP3 and WMA files off a USB memory stick, SD card or external device via a stereo connector. The device is very easy to use but the functions will take a little getting used to since they involve either pressing a button or pressing and holding the buttons for a couple of seconds.
The remote is very functional and effective. A big plus is the ability to resume from the last track being played after the vehicle is turned off and then restarted.
Would get 5 start if the device had a little more output power.

I first received this product 2 weeks ago, the first time I used it I could not get any reception at all. Satechi contacted me about the product, I told them what was wrong with it. They immedialtly sent me a new replacement and all I had to do was put my defective one in the box, then send it back at no charge. I received my new sound-fly in 4 days very fast shipping. Well let me tell you, I plugged it in, plugged in my MP3 player set the station to 88.1 here in NY, set it to 88.1 also on the sound-fly, and it worked great. No static at all, very nice sound. So I would definately recommended this FM transmitter to anyone looking for one. Great company Satechi.

Bought the Soundfly to put in my 2001 Toyota Corolla. It has a stock radio and speakers. Put my mp3's on a 2 gb flash card. Most are 128 kb mp3's. Sound is clear. Bass come's thru better. The corolla has a cigarette lighter below the console, so I don't have to use the remote. I just reach down to change songs. Volume is good, but if I change to the radio, the radio is louder. Tried it with my LG cell phone, and it worked great. I need to upgrade to better speakers and receiver.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Go ahead, try one. You will not be disappointed!
