I'm so relieved to have this case on my computer, as it means that it won't show the scratches and signs of use most laptops get. The case was easy to install and looks great. The only small drawback is that with the case on, the laptop won't open as far as it normally would.

I have this hard case for a month now. It is pretty sturdy and attaches pretty well on my macbook 17" If only the rubber feet are maybe a couple more centimeters higher so the heat escapes better. For the price though it is worth the buy.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed this product. After reading the reviews for several protective cases, I chose this one. It arrived on day before my new MacBook Pro. After applying a decorative skin to my laptop I very easily snapped the Speck case on.

I have tried several brands of cases for my iPod and not a single one fits with the same precision that this case fits my laptop. Additionally, I have spent a number of hours with the laptop directly on my lap getting to know my very first Mac (finally!), and have had no issues with overheating. As a matter of fact, the laptop remains amazingly cool, unlike my husbands HP laptop.

As a somewhat recovering perfectionist, I am thrilled that my new Mac is so well protected from scratches. And the clear case shows off my floral skin beautifully.

I researched my options extensivlely and kept coming back to this case. i have been extremely pleased with the case: installation was simple simple simple. It enhances the look of the laptop and protects inside and out of the carrying case I have I would reccomend it with out hesitation.
