I trained for and ran a marathon with this case. Great stuff.
I have two caveats - if you have large arms the band isn't wide enough. Also, although the outside of the case is waterproof, the part that touches you is not - it's neoprene, so if you sweat a lot the inside of the case gets foggy. That never messed up the Nano, but you couldnt see the display.

I had purchased this marware case since I wanted to run and occasionally look at my ipod to monitor my pace. I use it in the wrist configuration and it has worked out great. The wrist strap works better on the left arm as the way the ipod is configured, it adds a slight additional length to the earphones. Whats great is it comes with the shoe adapter for the nike+ so that you can use your nike+ kit with other shoes other than nike. i run with asics as well as my nike+ shoes and its easy to swap the sensor. overall great product and durable for running.

This doesn't really work that great. The armband sucks. I honestly would spend the 10 dollars more and get the nike brand one. I think this prodcut honestly is a piece of junk.

This works really well for me. It fits my 1st generation Nano, and doesn't chafe the way my armband has. Although in theory you can see the Nano screen, the plastic fogs up and glares, but it's better than the armband that I can't see at all.

I bought this because I wanted a window for the controls, which the nike armband doesn't have. It says it's a wristband/armband, so I assumed it was elastic and could stretch, it can't. It's made for people with small arms, and barely fits over my wrist. They include an extender, but it uses such a small piece of velcro that it comes loose and drops your ipod if you look at it funny. Also, the window fogs up the instant you start sweating.
If you have tiny wrists and never sweat, it's perfect. For me it's completely useless.
