This car charger works a advertised. The only thing I don't like is that it's all plastic at the plug end. Seems a bit cheap.

Well I figured I couldn't go wrong at this price. It arrived as requested, seems like a well built product, and IT WORKS. There isn't much else to say about a car charger. The white plastic case lights up from the red LED so you can see it is plugged in! I used it to not only charge my Nano but to keep it powered while driving and listening to the Nano.

I understand the concept of "you get what you pay for" but my goodness. Everything about this is cheaply made, including the metal contacts on the car adapter portion. The metal tabs actually had a slight bit of corrosion on them when this unit arrived. It's a very, VERY cheap light-weight plastic. The iPod connector itself is a snug fit ad makes you a bit nervous connecting it as it does not plug into your iPod as smoothly as you would like.
That being said, it does what it's supposed to do. It connects to and charges my iPod without frying it, so that's good.
Do yourself a favor and spend a few dollars more.
