My 70-200mm lens fits perfectly in this case. Can also fit the lens hood in it. I attached it to my Velocity 7 bag and now everything seems to fit in its place.

This case fits the Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR WITH the lens hood tight but it fits, which is all I need. Great to have when traveling and you want to take multiple lenses but don't want to carry around the camera bag or backpack. I also find it easier to get to the lens than the camera bag or backpack. I also have the Large version to hold my 18-70mm lens. The cases fit nicely on my belt. Attaches with velcro AND 2 snaps. When I'm not using the case I keep it attached to my Adventure 9 camera backpack. This way all my camera stuff is always together.
