Keep Cool [Posted on 2007-01-18] Thermaltake is known for its amazing and durable PC cases and accessories and the A2029 case fan is nothing short of spectacular. For a cheap price you can significantly reduce the temperature of your internal components. Installation is easy and offers several ways of setting up your fan. It includes a thermal couple for CPU monitoring and offers a knob for speed variation. Worth picking up as a fan upgrade or simply to add cooling power to your PC. Check it out.
Great Orange Fan for Custom Liquid Cooling [Posted on 2007-07-16] I've built my own externally housed liquid cooling sytem from scratch using three of these fans. I easily dismounted the control knobs from the metal pci slot cover and drilled three holes in an empty 5.25 bay cover and routed the wires to the outside of the case. When I run 3DSMax I can turn them up to full roar. Otherwise they are super quiet at the lowest settings. Be sure to wrap the little jumper with tape or shrink tubing since it can pop out, touch metal and close the circuit that makes the fan run full speed all the time.
Great Fan if you don't mind the noise [Posted on 2007-10-03] This fan moves a lot of air but if you decide to run it at full blast, be sure to wear some earplugs. This fan is really loud at the high setting. The TT noise killer kit did not help. If you don't mind the noise, this is a good buy for a case cooling option.
