Good PS [Posted on 2008-09-01]
This is a good Power Supply, it's more than enough to support my computer (Core2Duo 2Ghz, DVD-Recorder, 2Gb RAM, GeForce 8600 GT "Overclocked").
If you don't want problems with your computer, this is a nice call.

Great Inexpensive Power Supply [Posted on 2008-09-10]
This is a really nice power supply for the money. I have bought several of them and they work very quietly and efficiently.

If you are unfamiliar with how to install a new power supply you might want to follow these 10 simple steps:

1 Unscrew the four screws holding the old power supply to the case.
2 Pull the old power supply out and rest it on a corner of the case.
3 Put the new power supply into the case.
4 Follow the first cord of the old power supply noting the color of the wires and where they are located. You might want to write this down if your memory isn't the greatest.
5. Find a cord on the new power suppy that matches and plug it in to the empty socket. Push down hard to make sure the cord is well seated.
6. Keep doing this untill all cords on the old power supply are unplugged and replaced with cords from the new power supply.
7. Screw in the four screws to secure the power supply to the case.
8. Plug in the power supply
9. Turn on the switch to the power supply.
10. Turn on the computer.

The whole process takes less than 10 minutes and with the low cost of the Thermaltake power supply it makes it cost-and-effort effective to upgrade your old power supply.

All around bad product and company! [Posted on 2008-10-02]
I purchased the Thermaltake product recently because I bought a graphics card and needed to upgrade. Even though I did recieve the product promptly, after hooking up the Power supply it didnt even work! I called The customer service representative and they were very nice and told me to do the paper clip trick. well when I did the power supply sparked and it scared the hell out of me because my head was by the box listening for the fans. I sent the product back and almost two weeks later i still have not recieved any word on my return! Do yourself a favor and go with another product even if you have to pay a little more.

Does the job! Great price too! [Posted on 2008-10-09]
I purchased the Thermaltake W0070RUC TR2 Series 430W Power Supply with 2 Fans to power my MSI NX8600GT graphics card. It is very quiet and the 2 fans help leep the case cool. So far I have had no problems. I highly recommend it.

Affordable, dependable, and QUIET [Posted on 2008-10-11]
I got this as a replacement for my computer's original power supply... the fan on it began rattling (which made my computer even louder than it was originally) and I also needed extra cords to hook up to my new video card.

Upon installing the power supply, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only was my rattling problem solved... the computer runs so quietly now that it's almost inaudible! I assumed the CPU fan was producing much of the noise, but turns out the CPU fan runs almost silently under normal conditions. With my new power supply, the computer makes almost no sound at all.

There are plenty of connections, which is great... except that the number of cords running out of the power supply has filled up my case.

All in all I'm very happy with this unit... there are connections for all the components and it runs almost silently.
