An excellent case with some great extras [Posted on 2007-12-22]
I have to tell you, this is wonderful stuff- just stellar.
Let's start with the contents:
1x Clear case
1x Belt clip
1x Adhesive peg
The clear case is nice stuff. It fits the iPod snugly, is a nice 3/4 cm thick, is beautifully clear, and does not obstruct the screen, buttons, or ports. It has a nice hinge on the top that links its two halves. My only issues with this part are that it makes the standby button slightly harder to reach from the front and is a little too close to the home button.
Next, on to the clip. The clip is a matte black color and snaps onto the case vertically. What really shines about it is the clip itself. Aside from letting the iPod Touch hang off of your waist, it folds out into a stand and can rotate to landscape mode by twisting it 90 degrees in either direction. It's probably my favorite piece of this set, but if you don't want the added bulk, you can remove it with some fear of snapping it.
Finally, the adhesive peg. It's a grey-brownish color, has a black foam pad with a blue layer on it that can be peeled off, and has a round peg sticking out from it towards its bottom. This can be stuck pretty much anywhere and allows your iPod to hang from it through the clip. Haven't tried it yet, but it seems nice.
The only things that irritates me is that the edges of the case stick out from the front a tad much, making it slightly more annoying to type the bottom few letters in landscape format and the annoyingly high price of $30.

For me, this prodoct is perfect. The clip is easy to detach and attach to both the itouch and to a belt or shorts. I use the clip while working out (attached to the top of my shorts) and I have never had the itouch even slip a little. With a little practice, you can release the itouch from the clip and reattach it without even looking at it. The case itself does give good protection, but not complete. If you were to drop it at the right angle the glass front could still take a direct hit. However, the case does not conflict with any of the operations nor does it make the itouch too bulky. So, again for me it is the right balance between protection and minimalism - and the price is hard to beat!!
P.S. I would recommend the clear scratch protection film for the front in combination with this case.

Another good case of the 2 dozen you can find and many of them not so good but this one works well and looks good all comes down to your own preferences and what you need.
In this case a crystal clear very hard plastic and a clip on the back for your belt or turn it side ways and it provides a stand for the itouch to watch tv, movie, video clips without holsing it.
