Good phone for quickly answering Skype calls on your PC [Posted on 2008-05-03] This unit is a great improvement on answering incoming Skype calls with a microphone and speakers or a headset. Call quality is as good as the Skype connection. Set-up is easy (following the directions). Out going calls are easy to make, keys allow dialing of the number or navigation of Skype contacts. Nothing fancy, just a simple way to pick-up or make a call. Although it is tied to the PC, I'm very pleased with this device.

An additional plus to this unit is that the setup software makes it easy to configure the audio on the handset distinctly from PC sound system (so you don't have to stop the music you are listening to in order to hear the caller).
My friend's mistake [Posted on 2008-08-30] I did not notice that this is not copatible for MAC. So I just give it to my friend. so I do not know about this stuff,,,sorry.
Does exactly what I wanted it to. [Posted on 2008-09-10] Before looking at this phone I wanted to get a handset, so my parents (who have little idea of computers, and don't care for headsets) would be able to use Skype without having to use the skype interface and put on a headset every time. Anyways I decided to give this phone a try. I was wonderfully surprised how easy the setup was and how nicely it worked. It was just like a regular phone, when one presses numbers on the phone's pad skype would see that and call that number.
Overall I would recommend this to any one wanting to use skype, especially if they are using it to replace their land line.
Works initially then dies [Posted on 2008-11-17] After about of 6 months of very light use - its no longer recognized by any computer; I thought by going for the USRobotics label I was playing it safe but apparently I was wrong. Next time just buy the cheapest along with spares for when they fail.
