I am a previous owner of a Wahl clippers, so I am comparing this set of clippers from my previous set of clippers:
This set of clippers are very good. It does the job. However, it is not quite of what I had expected. I expected it to be more sharper at the edges in terms of hair cutting. At the edges, the cut looks more smooth rather then sharp. I would definitely be using these clippers to make fades instead of bald cuts or sharper edges. Otherwise, it is a great set of clippers, including all of the necessary tools for a great cut of your expectations. So I rate this 4 stars.

This is the perfect set of clippers for anyone looking to do their own hair maintenance. It comes with a large selection of trim lengths, custom trim guides, and other accoutrements. The clippers themselves do the job and are easy to maintain. Ideal set for a reasonable price.
Inferior Product [Posted on 2008-06-19]
I was disappointed with my purchase. There are two things I hate about this product, 1) aligning the blades and 2) adjusting the power setting. I've bought clippers before and they worked just fine without any adjustments, i don't know why wahl keeps making products that needs adjusting. Up until now I haven't gotten the power setting right, what makes matters worse is that after adjusting the blades.......whenever the power setting is adjusted the blades move out of alignment. The clipper vibrates like crazy when turned on because the solenoid on the inside touches the plastic casing when it is turned out. I had to open the clipper and pad the inside with sponge to ease the vibrations. I had a wahl shaver for about 3 years and its still going strong. I'll stick to buying shavers from them but not another clipper.
