Don't waste money; you want be pleased with the time [Posted on 2007-07-20] I ordered this clock to be placed on a bathroom vanity, off of our bedroom. It is too noisy. Worse, the hour hand never pointed direction at the hour ... if it was 9:00, the hour hand never pointed directly at the 9. I also ordered this product from Amazon: Custom Accessories CU073360 Large Lighted Readout Clock. It is silent, digital, and keeps time accurately.
Ticks Too Loud [Posted on 2007-09-03] I like the small size of this alarm clock, and the easy to read face. However it ticks TOO LOUD. I have always had analog alarm clocks on my nightstand so I am used to mild ticking while I sleep, but this one is super loud. I ended up moving it into my bathroom, and I can still hear it ticking from down the hall! I also agree with the other reviewer that the small hand doesn't quite point to the hour (at the top of the hour)--the arm setting is not very accurate.
Too noisy -- after a while it goes out of the room. [Posted on 2008-01-28] This watch is just too noisy -- you can't have it in your bedroom -- go for something else. Parts can also fall off.
Tick - Tick - Tick [Posted on 2008-02-29] Why would any company market an alarm
clock -- ordinarly placed beside your
bed -- that is so noisy that you can
hear it ticking in the next room!?
Don't the product engineers at Westclox
understand that it is the alarm that is
supposed to be noisy, not the clock all
night long!?
Remind me to avoid Westclox in the future.
Good old fashioned clock [Posted on 2008-12-14] I like this clock because of its size and ease of use. I bought it while abroad at Spain and it woke me up when I had to go to my excursions.
