Wii Perfect Shot Gun [Posted on 2008-10-10] Good overall feel of gun. Aiming needs getting used to due to the difference in the height of the laser point and the different ways people might hold the gun. Bought this to see any improvement for shooting in the Zelda game, but recommend to use the gun that came with the game because the trigger is faster than this one.
proportioned to the remote, not the hand [Posted on 2008-10-28] I bought one of these on impulse and rather regret it.
Functionality and durability are good, but even though it's a very tight fit getting the Wii remote installed (and you have to remove the wrist strap), the gun is _very_ large physically (w/ a larger grip than the Colt 1911A1 it's modeled on) and probably won't be comfortable for people who don't have really large hands.
The Wii Zapper is much more convenient to use --- that said, I'm going to try this out once again when I get Wii Resident Evil. And I did, but it doesn't work for that game, since the control setup is press and hold B, then press A to fire.

best shooter out [Posted on 2008-10-28] best shooter out there! for duck hunt Nintendo needs to come out with a 12 gauge though!
JUST POINT. AIM. & SHOOT! [Posted on 2008-11-01] This is a great wiigun however, the trigger is a little tough to pull.
still a great product!
Great accessory but there's a catch [Posted on 2008-11-02] I bought one of these brand new, and could not use it because plugging the nunchuk into the "nunchuk port" on the butt of the gun did not connect. The connection port on the inside of the gun that goes into the Wii remote was stuck too far inside the gun. I messed around with it for a while with a screwdriver, prying at it until it poked out enough to connect (almost breaking the product in the process). So now it does work fine, and I'm happy with it, but just be careful because before I had fixed it I contacted the Nyko customer support and never heard back from them. If you're not as lucky in getting yours to work you're S.O.L.
