Radio tjhis is good werkr.I likked it much. It am smal and goos much to place.However it much hot too soon after turned on later.friendz too like smalnes amd remarked it is work to good.For soon to later. Thanks you

I have replaced this unit 3 times in 2 years. I have replaced the car kit 3 times in 2 years. I have replaced the home kit twice in 2 years. I would AVOID purchasing this company's products. The only reason I keep replacing parts is I don't want to invest in a new radio, home kit and car kit all over again. At some point I will.

Unit failed after six hours of use and was returned for refund. Will not buy another.

I will never buy another product from XACT ever again. I purchased then receiver, boombox and portable kit and the receiver went bad so i lost out on everything. What a waste of money!
It lasted for four years [Posted on 2008-04-05]
This receiver lasted four years, until the husband got lazy and decided to never turn it off. It lived as long as it did because we were diligent about turning it off when we weren't using it. It does get very, very hot. Maybe he was subconsciously angling for an upgrade? In any event, it's inexpensive and we had no significant problems- though it is currently obsolete.
