I recently purchased a Cowan iAudio7 MP3 player, and Amazon directed me to purchase this particular arm band. I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with seven US Patents, and trust me, "This arm band is not designed to work with the MP3 player that I purchased it with. Amazon need to be more careful with their accessory recommendations.

Next to the silver metal bracket there's an elastic black strap that the I7 unit slides into. Turn the player on, slide it in the strap with the head-phone plug-in in at the bottom till the window pane with play/pause/forward/backward is above the strap, then slide the arm strap on your arm and adjust.
Have gone on 5-6 runs with it with no problems.

I also had the suggestion by Amazon for this band for the U5 IAudio player. Won't work, sorry, not going to work, no way this will work. Not dinging this for the construction or the usefullness but only for the fact that it won't work with the U5. It's well made, just won't work with the U5.

works great for running and riding bikes. Keep an eye on the attachment strip on the iAUDIO u2 cover because one of mines broke after excessive use and getting wet.

I have been thoroughly disappointed with their products and lack of customer service. They average about 2-3 weeks to return an email for customer service issues. I finally got through to a representative and was advised to send the product back to them, at my own expense and they emailed back about 1 month later stating that there is no problem with the item. When I emailed back with a detailed description of the specific situation I encountered (item stopped powering on or charging through the USB port) they ceased communication. I still haven't heard back from them, but will never buy their products ever again. They are terrible both at manufacturing and caring for their customers.
