Confirm Your iAudio is Compatible! [Posted on 2008-01-02]
I purchased the cradle for an X5L 30 GB iAudio by Cowan. Although I had checked the Cowan site for the cradle, nothing implied that the X5L would NOT fit in the X5 cradle. When the cradle arrived from Amazon, the iAudio would not fit. I wish I had known there was a different cradle. Unfortunately, no one seems to carry a cradle for X5L so if you want one, I guess you are out of luck.
Amazon was great in taking the item back, paying the shipping cost. Amazon gets 5 stars.
Cradle doesn't fit the 60 gig version of I-Audio X5 [Posted on 2008-04-02]
I looked for information on whether this thing accommodated the 60 gig version of the I-Audio X5, but could not find any information on it. The cradle is too narrow to fit the 60 gig unit. I took a stab at it, and lost. Time to get the dremmel out.
