I own the apple hi-fi speaker for ipods - paid nearly $400 with tax and was pleased. But its pretty heavy and bulky - so i was in search of something small for my desk. I am in an office setting, so high sound quality was not a must. I just wanted a means to play the ipod and also have the option to listen to the radio. The sound quality on this little thing is pretty darn good!!! AND! The radio feature gets GREAT reception. Its not the stereo type quality sound that i get from the hi-fi, but its got decent sound and base to it for a 4 x 7 inch speaker. The size is great and its very sleek and simple looking. I am happy with it and am actually considering buying more of them for areas of my house like night stand and kitchen.

I bought this for my sewing room so I could listen to my IPOD and listen to am/fm radio. It has a great sound for such a small unit. Also, no CD player, that I didn't need. It has a separate antennae for am and fm and they make a big difference. I could not pick up am on my Bose radio. I'm very glad I bought this item.

Just got the radio today and I must say it is a great little ipod radio! It is small and perfect for my kitchen where I wanted a stereo that had a radio and an ipod dock. Everything else I checked out sounded not that great and the price was usually 50 and above. I checked the reviews on this product and people seem to like it. I ran into a ihome alarm/clock/dock ipod bedroom radio at the Apple store and tested it out. Well my friend and I were really surprised at the sound! Better than the other competing brands that were next to it! It made me feel that ihome made a good solid sounding product without creating a huge footprint.
Well after that I went and got the ihome IH10B radio and was very very pleased. Small footprint, sounds great and has everything I wanted! Radio (both Am and FM) and an ipod dock connector! The little thing does put out with decent bass! Won't break any walls but that's not what this device is for.
The only thing I wished it had was a remote, but that doesn't concern me since I have the Griffin Airclick which acts as my remote.
Overall very happy and if you can get it for 40.00 and under (which I did) it is definitely worth it!

I was very shocked at the power this little box had. It has great reception for radio stations AND I love watching movies during my lunch hour at work with this litle gem. Definitely worth it. Perfect for your office at home or work!

My husband got me this so I could listen to music in the kitchen while i'm cooking, cleaning, etc..It's awesome. I love the retro look to it. It's very simple, and It comes with different slots for your different iPods..I have the 1st Gen. Nano and the 3rd. And I love that I can watch my videos and tvshows on it. It can turn into a little tv. Great sound, I love it!
