This product works as advertised. I bought it for its remote function primarily, and though I hate having to do FM modulated sound, it's a necessary evil at times, and this is among the best FM transmitters I've used, and it effectively provides a case for your scratch-prone nano. So it's kind of a "3 for 1" deal. As with anything of this type, it'll wear down the nano's battery faster than usual, but it's great that this product includes a pass through dock port on the bottom, for easy charging in the car, etc. Most of the other transmitters cost at least as much and don't serve as a remote or a case.

The wireless remote is great. I bought this primarily for use on my motorcycle and I can put the remote in the map pocket on my tank bag where having push buttons works much better than the iPod's click wheel.

One problem I ran into was I kept inadvertently leaving the FM transmitter on and running down the battery on the ipod. Also, the FM transmitter is not so great in the car, but I don't care too much about that.

The other problem is the USB cable does not fit in the connector at the bottom of the iJet. You have to remove the iPod from the iJet in order to attach it to the computer. If the opening was just a little wider it would probably work fine.

the unit works great, bought it for the remote to use on my motorcyle. mounted the key pad on the handlebars, and now i have over 1,000 songs to listen to while motoring down the road, with full control on functions. only reason for no five stars, is the plastic lid is flimsy, but the base is very strong
